Samantha Ybona is a Bay Area native who currently works as an Executive Analyst at the University of California, San Francisco working in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department. She previously worked at a local NGO as a Social Justice Community Organizer, educating and promoting the youth in civic engagement initiatives. Recently graduated from the University of Sydney Law School with her Masters in Administrative Law and Policy. She holds a B.S. in Community and Regional Development from the University of California, Davis. During her undergraduate career, she completed her internship at the Office of the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines under Madam Leni Robredo working on community development programs throughout the Philippines. In 2016 she was a recipient of the UC Davis Civic Engagement Award. Sam is also proud fur-parent of Ligaya, chihuahua mix and Hoody, maltese poodle.
